Whitney Hall is the central performance theater in the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts. The Robert S. Whitney Hall box office is located at 501 West Main Street in downtown Louisville. The Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts opened in 1983 and has three other theaters including the Moritz von Bomhard Theatre, Boyd Martin Theatre, and the Brown Theatre. Whitney Hall is the largest and most spectacular at the venue having a seating capacity of 2,406.
